Check The Film, VBPD!

On the way to today's RAC meeting, the bus I was on ran a red light. We were heading eastbound on Virginia Beach Boulevard, pushing through the light at Independence Boulevard. Yes, that light has one of those Photo Red cameras up. Does VBPD now send a Summons to HRT?

FYI, HRT policy requires that the Operator of the bus pay any fines out of her pocket. No agency funds will be used.

I was on a 960 that did that turning from Independence onto VB Blvd. (For some reason, we took the Blvd to Military Hwy that day instead of 264.) Can't remember if there was a fine or not, was long enough ago that the cameras were up but may not have been ticketing yet.

I still can't believe they wait 30 days before ticketing off the red light cameras. The VP even quoted the company providing the camera service as saying it's pretty much unheard of.

By the way, I like your blog's CAPTCHA's. they are obvious and clear, which makes it easy for me.
