Why KMart Is A Mess

This afternoon I stopped at KMart to buy beer. Not your typical place to buy it, but very convenient for me. I was carded on the beer purchase. At age 44.

I used to be a Backup Cashier at Target. The rule was No ID...no Sale! Yes, I would even card my own mother.

Do they have a card under 60 policy or do you just look under 30. Seriously I had a supervisor at an amusement park beer line who carded anyone with more teeth than her. Unless management gets involved (or exists) there is no solution. Kmart will join the dinosaurs of retailing.

K Mart most likely had a "Card Everyone" policy like Target. When I was a cashier, I felt more comfortable when I carded

I've lost too much hair on top to be mistaken for being under 21. :)

I never get carded at Walmart.
