Further Proof That The Rigell Campaign is Anti-Grassroots

Congressional candidate Scott Rigell has scheduled a Virtual Town Hall on his website this evening at 7 P.M.

Just one serious problem: the Council of Civic Organizations (CCO), Virginia Beach's civic league federation, meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 P.M. Yeah, the Rigell Campaign scheduled at a time where active civic league representatives won't be online. It's telling that no one at the Rigell Campaign grasped what they were doing.

There's an old diplomatic adage that, "You can tell a revolution by it's friends." In this case, the Rigell Campaign has been far too top-heavy with status quo elitists.

That trailer in his commercials was full of his inlaws money when he came into town...

I think with the governor's endorsement, Rigell has it wrapped up neatly.

Anon 9:02,

Your comment misses the point. If you think Rigell's biggest problem is wrapping up the nomination, you're wrong.

Should Rigell win, how many Republicans end up in the Golden camp? With Kenny Golden running as an independent, he could bleed off enough votes that Nye wins in November.

I wouldn't be so sure about that causing Nye to win.

Golden's stance on abortion will get him tons of DEM votes, he thinks it is a sin, but wants the federal government to stay out of it. So as far as they are concerned, he is pro-choice.

He is also pro-gay civil union and his brother is gay, so that will get him tons of DEM votes as well.

Not to mention at that point he will be the only veteran in the race. You can say Rigell was a Marine Reservist, but that doesn't touch Kenny who is a real live Commodore, the only man alive to be retired with such a rank.
