There's A Reason That Call It Ash Wednesday

This week's bulletin at St. Gregory's Catholic Church includes the Mass times for Ash Wednesday. It will be March 9 this year.

Before 6 P.M. Mass this evening, an elderly couple were looking at the bulletin. The woman told her husband that they should go at Noon on Wednesday. He replied, "It's on a Wednesday?" She calmly said, "It's always on a Wednesday."

Totally off-topic, but since I won't comment on Bearing Drift for obvious reasons, I just wanted to say your blog is awesome and I read it everyday.

As far as I can tell, there is no better source of information for happenings in local mass transit, although you might get more traffic if you had a more topical name.

Brian Kirwin and Vivian Paige both have deals with the local papers, they need to hook you up with one to supplement the work Debbie Messina does. HRT is lacking big time when it comes to educating the public at large about what its plans are.

Max,

Thank you. I don't want this to be a transit-only blog. In fact, I try to avoid back-to-back transit posts. Note how I slipped the blurb on Tanya Bullock between the two TDCHR posts.

As for the attack, the sole individual has been dismissive of this blog from the beginning. I'll consider the source.
